About HA5AO
There is a huge amount of ham radio station websites. This one is a simple, further addition. By creating this site, my aim was just to share some basic information about me, my station and my activities, not more.
My name is Istvan Gaspar, operator name is Pista. I was born in 1951. Licenced ham since 1976. Back in those times, I was active from the HA5KHT club station. I got HA7VT, my first callsing, in 1976, then HA5AO in 1984. After 14 years of silence I was back to the bands in 2004. I am active on the HF bands, mainly on CW. I am registered to LotW, however I prefer the "old fashion" paper QSL cards.
